Event Cards
Event cards will have the same guidelines as the ‘Cards’ block with the addition of text formats for the date and location input fields. Cards allow you to surface a number of items in a ‘card’ like design in multiple columns. The layout is automatic based on the number of cards and page template chosen. There are 3 types of cards to choose from.
Rules
- Minimum of 2 cards, maximum 12
- Maximum of 2 links
- All cards have a set height and must not grow taller
- Card layout is dynamic, based on the number of cards.
- Image ratio is 16:9
- If an event is over or cancelled then the card should be removed from the page
Date & Event formats
- Date format for a single day is: DAY MONTH YEAR (e.g. 09 SEPTEMBER 2024)
- Date format for up to three days in the same month is: DAY, DAY & DAY MONTH YEAR (e.g. 09, 10 & 11 MARCH 2024)
- Date format for more than three days in the same or different month: MULTIPLE DATES
- Date format for an event that has ended or not readily available: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
- Location format for an event at a single location: 137 St Georges Terrace, Perth, Curtin Perth, Online event
- Location format for an event that has multiple locations: Multiple Locations
Content limits
- Content limit varies depending on how many links are used / how long the heading or body text is. Adjust content accordingly to fit within the set height of the cards.
