Homepage masthead
The homepage masthead is a full-width image and text banner that is positioned after the global header, and before any page content or component.
This masthead is only used on first level pages. It has the option to have a subheading, there are different content limits depending on if there is a subheading or not.
Rules
- Must be at the top of a first level page, below the global header
- Photos MUST be high quality. No stock photos if possible.
- Mastheads must include the article title. This should be short and descriptive. Users should be able to know what article they’re reading on just a glance. eg. Curtin Open Day, Research at Curtin
- Must include at least 1 CTA button
Content limits
- Heading: 50 characters (Max), 20 characters (Min)
- Subheading: 70 characters (Max), 40 characters (Min)
- Body w/ subheading: 150 characters (Max), 120 characters (Min)
- Body only: 300 characters (Max), 120 characters (Min)
Image limits
- Image size: 1900px x 540px
- Image focus to be on right hand side
- No logo or text to be placed on top of image
