Navigation

Site navigation is displayed in three variants:

  1. Primary navigation in the site header
  2. Secondary navigation for standard pages
  3. Mobile menu for small screens

Additionally, the regional selector on the Study website allows users to receive information tailored to a domestic or international audience.

Global header

Global header

The global header is the uniform navigation menu that appears at the top of all Curtin websites. There are two variations; one for the study site and one for all other Curtin sites.

The Mega Menu is the dropdown menu that contains all of the page links for the selected first level pages in the global header navigation.

Side nav

The Side Nav is a vertical list of links located on the left side of most of our web pages.

Regional selector

The regional selector allows users to toggle between domestic and international student information on the Study site.

Mega menu

The Mega Menu is the dropdown menu that contains all of the page links for the selected first level pages in the global header navigation.

Side Nav

The Side Nav is a vertical list of links located on the left side of most of our webpages. It has been implemented to provide better navigation of our vast number of web pages. Depending on the page (i.e. Homepage and News) the side nav may not be used. The side nav is only active on desktop and laptop screen sizes.

Regional selector

The Regional Selector consists of the buttons and the modal that appear when selecting the domestic or international versions of pages on the Study site. When a region is selected, a modal describing the characteristics of the region’s student will appear.
